The photo below captures such a simple moment. But it made me think so much.
Wouldn’t the world be great if we didn’t teach the new generations about black, white, asian, etcetera? Like the caption reads, no-one is born racist, it’s merely conditioned. Why do we choose to continually condition such abhorrent behaviour? Why should we teach our children that a person with darker skin is African, Mexican, that kid with yellower skin is Asian? Why can’t we say they are another human being and leave it at that?
With that being said, wouldn’t the world be greater if the gender labelled characteristics ceased to exist also? Why should certain characteristics be deemed masculine and one ridiculed for having characteristics that are perceived as being masculine or feminine? Maybe this would help transgender children from being so conflicted within themselves. They are who they are. We would also stop labelling people as gay or straight from the get go simply by virtue of how you perceive them as acting.
Nobody is born a racist.
